Clay Youth Football League to host NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition

The Clay Youth Football League will play host to an official NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition at the CYFL Field on July 12 at 4 p.m. Children do not have to be a member of the football league. Girls are encouraged to sign-up as well. The top finishers in each of 10 age groups at local competitions will advance to a sectional round and the winners of the sectionals will have their scores compared with other champions with the top-four scorers from the pool of sectional champions advancing to the Indianapolis Colts Team Championship.. ...

County historical society reschedules meeting to Monday

The Clay County Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, July 14, in the lower level of the museum. INDOT: SR 59 project to begin Monday

Trustees vote against attendance clause, vow to change it

Clay Community Schools' trustees struck down a decision made last year that tied instructional assistant's stipends and their attendance policy together.
