Council hears request to renovate tennis courts

Several residents gathered at City Hall on Wednesday to hear the park board's request to renovate Forest Park's tennis courts. Park Board Member, Linda Messmer, approached the city council seeking an additional appropriation of $96,000 that would allow for the existing tennis courts at the park to be completely redone. Messmer said the proposal for the new court would allow not only tennis players to play but she is suggesting adding pickleball courts as well...
