Exceptional Living Center of Brazil sponsored a trick-or-treat night for the children of Clay County, and its residents assisted in passing out the candy. Clay City High School senior Easton Booe said the nerves and anxiousness felt before competing in a robotics tournament is similar to that of taking the basketball court during a game. New ambulance provider awarded contract

Clay County Commissioners agreed to switch the county's ambulance service provider on Friday, ending a decade-long tenure with Trans-Care. Beginning Jan. 1, CARE Ambulance Co. will be the primary ambulance service for 911 calls in Clay County. Helping form commissioners' unanimous decision was a committee they appointed in June to formulate guidelines that were approved and sent to seven ambulance providers. ...
