Council approves of annexation of property on city's south side

County's unemployment rate drops significantly

Clay County's unemployment rate dropped to levels not experienced this time of year since the turn of the century. According to data from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the county's unemployment rate for April was 5 percent. In March, the unemployment rate was 6.6 percent.
