Strawberries, rhubarb are a welcome surprise

Farmer's Markets are now open in Brownsburg and in other towns around here. It is a little early. The homegrown vegetables and seasonal fruit are in short supply here. Strawberries were not freshly harvested and priced much too high. Green beans were the first pick of the season and overly priced as well. I came home tired and empty handed. We planned to supermarket shop for the items another day...
