Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry receives $2,500 grant

The SCI Membership Community Fund has awarded a grant for $2,500 to the Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry 2015 "Meat" the Need donation program. This grant will be used to pay processing fees for donated meat in Morgan, Owen, Brown, Monroe counties and parts of Johnson, Clay, and Putnam counties, which will then be distributed to area hunger relief agencies...

Paranormal 101 coming to library

The Brazil Public Library will host Paranormal 101 at 2 p.m. on Oct. 17 . Michael Drum of Ask Mike and his wife, Lori, will discuss the paranormal. Ask Mike was founded in 2010 by Michael Drum, as a column in the Disclosure News Magazine monthly, a southern Illinois newspaper.
