The Clay County Council amended a salary ordinance on Tuesday that would, among other objectives, equal the pay of two victim advocates for the county's prosecutor office. The unanimous decision to increase the wage by less than $2 to $15.50 for the part-time work gave way to discussion about why the Clay County Prosecutor's Office will again pursue full-time victim advocates during budget hearings in the fall -- a request that's not been approved in years past...
