A squirrel was responsible for shutting off power to more than 3,000 Duke Energy customers in Brazil on Tuesday, said Duke spokesperson Angeline Protogere. On Wednesday morning, Protogere said the final count of customers affected by the power outage was 3,600, all because a squirrel entered a power substation and damaged equipment.
