The early voters just keep coming to the Election Office on the second floor of the Clay County Courthouse. On Friday the steady line was back to the elevator, but the wait time wasn’t too bad - with officials reporting some vote times as fast as three minutes. Clay County holiday assistance program update

The local DFR/FSSA office has changed the process of verifying families to receive assistance for the holidays. Due to the office no longer running the applications, they are requesting for the parents to come in to the local office and print out the form from their kiosk showing what their benefits are. This will need to be attached to the application when you turn them in along with school verification if needed...
