Scouts do good deed at Jackson Township school

On Nov. 1,the Jackson Township Cub Scout pack 195 worked on a service project. The scouts planted a tree and landscaped in front of Jackson Township Elementary School. The Jackson Township Elementary School PTO donated the tulip poplar tree, while PTO members and Scout members donated the plants for the front of the school. The boys worked hard and enjoyed being outside and getting a little dirty during the warm fall weather...

County Commissioners lower speed limit on portion of C.R. 300N

Residents who live along a portion of C.R. 300N said they were pleased the county commissioners agreed to lower the speed limit to 45 mph on the road that passes in front of their homes. The speed limit on C.R. 300N between C.R. 200E and S.R. 59 had been 55 mph, as it is on all county roads that are not posted. ...
