Trustees analyze ISTEP results, accountability grades

Clay Community Schools’ trustees were updated last week about the corporation’s performance in the most recent round of ISTEP+ testing. Discussing those results, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Timothy Rayle explained that the testing process is “like a game, a moving target” and ISTEP seems to “always be changing the rules.” Superintendent Jeffrey Fritz agreed, adding that more than 80 percent of the schools passed the 2015-16 exam with B letter grades or better in the school accountability, “And I’m proud of that.”
