Door to Door: Effort hopes to put smoke detectors in every local home

Door hangers offering free smoke detectors are being left on people’s homes by the Brazil Fire Department. Fire Chief Jake Bennett urges residents to call the number on the door hanger, 812-446-7551, to have smoke detectors installed free of charge. It does not matter what type of home you live in, he said.
