Forest Park drainage project nearing completion

Dallas King, an employee of the City of Brazil Wastewater and Storm Department, cuts a section of storm sewer pipe to be installed in the area of Forest Park where the annual Rotary 4th of July Celebration will open on June 27. Thompson sentenced in March 2016 drunk-driving death - Prosecution, judge question law and punishment for crime

A Parke County man received six years in prison on Wednesday for the 2016 drunk-driving death of a Terre Haute woman and mother of three. Dylan Earl Thompson, 22, pleaded guilty in front of a packed and emotion-filled Clay Superior Courtroom to the level 5 felony charge of causing death when operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or more.
