Clay City officials seeking grant for street resurfacing

Now that work on the water treatment plant is ready to begin, the Clay City Town Council is turning its attention to other projects. At Tuesday’s meeting, the council voted to hire Paul Vincent to write an asset management plan, the first step in applying for a state grant for street improvements. The state will pay 75 percent and Clay City will pay 25 percent if the money is granted.
