Great Dane responds to local food program’s need for water

With the dog days of summer in full effect and the heat bearing down on Clay County in 2017, water is a necessity in just about any endeavor. One program that found this out first hand was the Clay County Youth Food Program at the YMCA as the demand for lunches, which included a bottled water, was a hot ticket.

County native earns Master Farmer award

Like most farmers, you could call Denny Bell a self-made man. But, he also will tell you he was once a self-broken man. Denny graduated from Purdue University in 1979 and farmed his family farm in Clay County until 1988 when he lost the farm.

Local business surprised at Brickyard 400

When John and Lisa Coughanowr attended the Brickyard 400 last month they had no idea they were about to become a part of Brickyard history. The couple was invited to attend the Brickyard by Auto-Owners Insurance.
