A fairly slow-moving severe thunderstorm rolled across Clay County, beginning shortly before 5 p.m., Sunday and the rain was expected to continue until about 9:30 p.m. Farmers and many other people appreciated the rain while others did not. During the worst of the storm, several reports of trees down were reported and at least one tree ended up on power lines. Other damage was reported as well...
