Mayor optimistic even though City didn't get facade grant in first round

Mayor Brian Wyndham is optimistic that Brazil will win a $412,928 grant to rebuild the storefronts of six downtown Brazil buildings, even though the City was not approved in the first round of awards in August. “We’re obviously going in for the second round,” the mayor said. “Everybody is willing to stay with this. When you go into it, it’s really competitive. By no means will we be giving up on it and I expressed that to OCRA when they were down here that they may get sick of seeing us.”...
