Newspaper readers help solve yard ornament theft

One peculiar case of yard ornament theft has been resolved through “good old-fashion police work” and a lot of help from the public. “In this case, there were so many small reports, the story was in the paper (in June), the public called in information after that, and then officers went to work and did the legwork,” said Assistant Brazil Police Chief Dennis Archer. “This is a prime example of how when police and the community work together that good things can happen.”...
