Ellen Fisher, 90, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Cloverdale, Indiana on June 17, 1928 to the late William and Dorothy (Williamson) Young. She graduated from Reelsville High School in 1947, and married James W. Fisher later that year. They were members of the Ebenezer Church, and Ellen was a member of TOPS for over 45 years. She worked as a cook at Van Buren School, and decorated cakes for over 40 years...

Great Dane, Brazil, has a new “Champ” standing guard over the plant. “Champ” is the name of the Great Dane statue that stands some 20 feet tall and is located at the main gate on U.S. 40.
