Sidewalk repairs underway and expected to continue into 2019

Local residents might have noticed the repair work being done on the sidewalks and curbs the last few weeks along Jackson Street. Crews from S.T. Construction, based in Terre Haute, were pictured while repairing sidewalks. According to Brazil Street Department Supervisor Brian Bemis, the crews will be working into 2019 to complete a three-phase project as weather allows that will ultimately create a crosswalk in the area of the Clay County Courthouse and the Clay County Justice Center...
