Indiana Sheriff’s Youth Ranch to help teen visitors

A new Chaplain’s Fund is being established this holiday season at the Indiana Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch to help fulfill the expected spiritual, clothing and hygiene needs of teen visitors next summer. “Decades of experience in other states and at Indiana sheriffs’ local and regional camps tells us many kids arrive in need of uplifting and devotional materials, shoes, socks and basic toiletries,” said Scott Minier, interim executive director. ...

CCRTA 2018 Fall Social

The Clay County Retired Teachers Association (CCRTA) held its 2018 Fall Social at the Clay County 4-H Fairgrounds on Thursday, October 25th. Registration and social time began at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. A large group of retire teachers, regular and associate members and guests enjoyed a baked spaghetti meal provided by CCRTA.
