An intense investigation by the Clay County Sheriff’s Department has led to the arrest of an Owen County man on local charges of child molestation and rape and may lead to more charges in Owen County. Officials confirm that Trent Thompson, 25, Quincy, IN, was arrested around 12:30 Tuesday and has been preliminarily charged with level 4 felony child molesting, Sexual battery, Battery and a class A misdemeanor charge of Criminal trespass. ...
