Clay City Council moves forward with wastewater work, approves lifesaving equipment request

The Clay City Town Council met on Tuesday, July 2 at Town Hall. Sewer bill adjustments were presented and approved for John Horton, Lisa Dickerson, Joseph Lucas, Tammy Terrell, Don Dayhuff and Carl Haviland. John Wetzel of Midwestern Engineers spoke to the council on the status of the wastewater project, and the council approved payment of a bid submitted by Graves Construction of $262,626 for sanitary sewer system improvement as well as payment of a bid submitted by Inland Waters Pollution Control in the amount of $327,342.50 for gravity sewer lining and collection system rehabilitation.. ...
