Local data about how COVID-19 affecting Clay County residents

As the number of positive COVID-19 cases in Clay County tipped over 100 this week, the Clay County Health Department provided localized data about how the pandemic affected residents. Clay County Health Nurse Kim Hyatt provided the following information:• The overall total of positive COVID-19 tests reported for residents in Clay County was 104 at 3 p.m. Thursday. However, Hyatt confirmed many tests had been reported to the local health department, but the lab results have not returned yet, so the number can change at any time.
