The American Red Cross is helping a Brazil family whose Edgewood home caught fire Wednesday evening. According to Brazil Fire Chief Jake Bennett, the department responded to a report of a garage fire at 113 Villa Court around 6:30 p.m. “The attached garage was fully involved, and fire had already spread into the home when we arrived,” said Bennett about the fire that caused extensive damage. “High winds - we had some wind speeds of 18-30 mph - played a role in the rapid spread of the fire.”...
