Indiana Department of Transportation’s work crew was busy “restriping” traffic lines on the road at the intersection of US 40 and State Road 340 split Wednesday. On Saturday, March 6, the crews were at the location repairing potholes.

Mark Anthony Ave, 75, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 after a short stay at The Waters of Greencastle. He was born on February 2, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Tony and Charlotte (Jackson) Ave. Mark graduated from Clinton High School in 1964, and earned a Batchelor’s Degree from Indiana State University. He volunteered for the draft, and served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Mark worked in sales for 7-Up and Skelgas and married Anita Schepper on August 4, 1972...

Over the weekend, several former Northview and Clay City student-athletes put together performances to remember. Braydon Tucker (Northview) certainly had an outing he will never forget. The Indiana University sophomore came out of the Hoosier bullpen in the bottom of the sixth inning after watching starter McCade Brown go five hitless innings. Tucker finished off the combined no-hitter with four hitless innings of his own, giving the program its first no-hitter in 37 years...
