No injuries were reported during an unusual accident in the Walmart parking lot on Memorial Day. The Brazil Police Department Assistant Police Chief Dennis Archer confirmed the accident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. According to Archer, an unidentified Brazil resident pulled over in the parking lot to eat breakfast when their SUV became stuck on a pallet of pavers on the east side of the parking lot near the garden area. ...

Benjamin Lee Sowers, 79, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2021 after a brief stay in the hospital. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on August 19, 1941 to the late Frank Benjamin and Virginia (Mewhinney) Sowers. Ben graduated from Bowling Green High School, and later earned his X-Ray Degree from Madison College.
