Mike Robinson was pleased with the turnout on Saturday morning for the second food giveaway sponsored by federal money geared toward Clay County families either affected by COVID-19, who are elderly or who have a low income. Storm takes out tree in Forest Park

The extreme storm front that blew through Clay County overnight Friday into Saturday caused widespread power outages, downed trees, and fallen power lines. Forest Park sustained damage near the children’s playground area when this giant tree couldn’t take the wind anymore.
