COLLEGE REPORT: Hyatt, Shaw hoping to lead DePauw to back-to-back playoff wins

Just as Northview’s high school football team made history during the postseason by reaching a sectional championship game for the first time in program history, a pair of former Knights entered the collegiate history books at DePauw last weekend. Dylan Hyatt, who was named NCAC First-Team All-Defense after leading the Tigers with six interceptions to go along with four pass break ups and two tackles for loss but was held out of Saturday’s NCAA tournament game with a concussion, and Trey Shaw, who was named NCAC All-Conference Second Team after leading the Tigers with 48 receptions for 769 yards and nine touchdowns, played key roles in DePauw’s 26-21 victory over Rose-Hulman Saturday, marking the first time the program had won a NCAA Division III Football Championship game.. ...
