James Edward Lawson, 84, Sullivan, formerly of Rosedale, died at his residence Sunday.

He was the son of Frank and Mary (Clark) Lawson.

Survivors include his wife Lilly Lawson; step-sons Ron Moreland and Joe Moreland; step-daughter Donna Cornetto; and brother Bob Lawson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step-daughter Connie Horton.

Services took place Thursday at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, Rosedale. Burial was at Rosedale Cemetery.
