Born Jan. 1, 1912, in Bowling Green, she was the daughter of Wilmer and Laura Thomas Woods.
She had worked as a waitress and then later as a Green Thumb Worker and was a member of the Spencer V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by son John Farrel Albright; daughter Marjorie Alberta Dowell; brothers George and Farrel Woods; and grandchildren Rachel Jane Dowell, Rebecca Sue Dowell, Dixie Lee White, Richard Albright, Melody Ann Albright, Daniel Lee Albright and Walter Eugene Albright.
Survivors include grandchildren Vicki Ledgerwood, Cynthia Smith, Sally Carter, Steve Dowell, John Dowell, Tina Dowell, John Albright, Jeff Albright, Wilma Sheriff, Alan Albright, Bill Albright and Angel Albright, as well as 28 great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Flynn officiating.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in the Cole Cemetery, Clay City.
