Earl T. Reeves, 79, Pittsboro, formerly of Brazil, died July 30, 2007.

He had worked in maintenance for Sun Oil for 27 years and then owned and operated D&E_Maintenance, retiring in 1991.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include wife Patricia Cagle Reeves; daughter Diana Dunigan and husband Walter; son Dennis Reeves and wife Eloise; sisters Dora Alsip and Jean Evans and husband Jack; grandchildren Brittney Goodwin, Joanna Reeves and Richard Reeves.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday.
