Knights fall in road contest

The Northview Knights dropped just their second game of the season on Saturday night when they lost a road contest to the Plainfield Quakers 82-76.

The Knights led by seven points headed into the final period before Plainfield exploded for 30 points and the six point win.

For Northview, Logan Whitman hit six 3-pointers for all 18 of his points while Josh Timm led the way for Northview with 25 points, including four tri-fectas of his own.

Zach Keyes picked up another 14 points while Tyler Akers added eight.

Ryan Gentry led four Plainfield players in double-digits with 27 points.

The Knights (16-2 overall) will return home for a 6:30 p.m. Thursday tip-off versus South Putnam.
