Northview's T.J. King enjoyed a great night as the Knights picked up a wild 8-7 victory over conference foe Sullivan on Wednesday night.
King came in to relieve starting pitcher C.J. Peters in the seventh inning as the Golden Arrows rallied with three runs to tie the score at six apiece.
Sullivan took the lead in the top of the eighth inning, 7-6 with the Knights coming to bat for their final shot.
In the bottom half of the inning, Ryan Herbert walked and was sacrificed to second by Ryan Hayes. With one out, King came to the plate and hammered a two-run walkoff homerun to earn the victory for the Knights.
King's night at the plate wasn't limited to just the homerun as he also compiled a single, double and triple to hit for the cycle.
Tyler Broady had a pair of hits and two RBI's and both Hayes and Herbert each had doubles for Northview. Peters had an RBI and Andrew Griffin also had a double as the Knights moved to 11-4 overall this season and 4-3 in the Western Indiana Conference.
Northview will play Thursday against West Vigo at 7 p.m. The junior varsity will play Saturday in the Northview Invitational beginning at 10 a.m.
