The North Clay track teams finished second and third in a three-way meet with Owen Valley and Bachelor Middle School on Monday evening.
The girls team took second, finishing behind Owen Valley's 67 points with 39 of their own. Bachelor Middle School was third with 12 points.
The boys meet was won by Bachelor with 67. Owen Valley had 35 and North Clay had 32.
For the girls, Ashley Davis was first in the shotput and second to teammate Ashley McDonald in the discus. Jonna Harlan was fourth in the shotput. Jenica Yocom was fourth in the long jump and fifth in the high jump.
On the track, Tiffany Young was first in the 800 meters while Hannah Hunter won the 400 meters.
In the boys meet, Hunter Reberger won the 800 and was second in the 100 meters while placing fourth in the long jump. Drew White was first in the 200 and Clint Grey placed second in the 100 hurdles and third in the long jump.
Jared Swift placed second in the 400 and fourth in the 100 meters and Larry Pavin was fourth in the 800 meters.
The 3,200 relay team of Griffin Maurer, Zach Kirby, Chris Smith and White placed first and the 400 relay team of Cory Bryan, Reberger, White and Grey placed second.
Both teams will travel to South Vermillion on Thursday for a dual meet with the Wildcats before competing at the Western Indiana Conference meet on Saturday at Edgewood.
