Northview's junior varsity baseball team won 12-1 over host Mooresville on Wednesday night.
Shawn Hughes went all six innings while allowing no earned runs in the game. He allowed seven hits while striking out five batters.
At the plate, Jason Johnson had three hits including an RBI and run scored while Troy Sanders hit a two-run homerun as part of a three RBI evening. Hughes also had a homerun as part of three hits and two RBI's. Shane Cooper added two hits, Ryan Nees had his second three hit game this week to go with three runs scored and Kyle Nees had an RBI and scored two runs. Graig Bass scored a pair of runs as well.
The win moves the Knight's record to 8-4 this season.
