In Monday's Clay County Girls Softball Minor League play, Premier Tax defeatd Cinergy, 15-0 in the first game of the evening as Madison Sullivan homered and doubled for the winning squad. Kylie McKee also doubled and pitched two innings on the mound along with Shelby Bass.
For Cinergy, Jennifer Gabriel pitched three innings and RaeAnn Driscoll had a pair of singles.
In game two, MI Home Products defeated Hoosier Storage 10-9 as Chelsea Martin tripled and both Sabrina Rhodes and Casey Shaw doubled for the winners. Courtney Barnett and Kadie Hanlon were the pitchers for MI Home Products.
For Hoosier Storage, Ashlee Ball and Kaylee Clark each had a double and pitched two innings.
Earlier in the week, in Senior Softball league action, Classic Trophy defeated Coneqtec 13-3 and defeated Eutectic Resources 11-2.
Kendra Roe threw four innings in the win over Coneqtec as Karen Pell and Abby Smith each doubled.
In the win over Eutectic Resources, Ashly Wools and Amber McClelland each threw two innings and McClelland doubled for the winners.
For Coneqtec, Stephanie Jonson threw three innings, combining with Bailey Short and Jessica Robertson on the mound. Jonson also tripled in the loss.
On May 15, Hampton Lawn defeated Eutectic Resources 15-2 as Brittany Roe, Corey Moss and Erika Tucker scored for the winners. Madison Rothrock threw three innings with Moss pitching one frame.
For Eutectic Resources, Christy Turner and Jerica Martin scored and both Wools and Danielle Palmer pitched.
On May 18, Coneqtec defeated Hampton Lawn 14-4 as Leslie Workman, Short and Jonson each had extra base hits. Short and Jonson were the pitchers.
For Hampton Lawn, Brittany Brown, Rothrock and Moss each pitched.
