In Wednesday's Clay County Girls Softball Minor League games, Cinergy and Hoosier Storage tied at 7-all and Premier Tax won a slugfest with MI Home Products 17-16.
In the first game, Darci Brown had three singles for Cinergy and teammate Jennifer Gabriel had a pair of doubles.
For Hoosier Storage, Ashlee Ball had a double and Macy Mayle had a triple.
In the second game, Brianna Dierdorf had a bases loaded two-run sacrifice in the bottom of the final inning with her squad, Premier Tax, trailing by three. Nicole Nelson then hit a game-winning two-run homerun for the victory.
For MI Home Products, Anna Pinkston and Kadie Hanlon each had two singles while Casey Shaw, Courtney Barnett and Sabrina Rhodes each had three singles. Pinkston and Hanlon each had doubles.
Also for Premier Tax, Shelby Bass, Areyna Ault and Samantha Montague all had three singles and Madison Sullivan had a double.
The league begins their double-elimination tournament at 6 p.m. on Tuesday with play continuing through Thursday at Northview High School.
