The Northview freshman squads picked up a pair of home victories over South Putnam on Wednesday night.
The 'A' squad grounded the Eagles with three quarters of full court pressure defense that held South Putnam to just 13 points. Meanwhile the Knights jumped out to a 24 point advantage before relinquishing their pressure in the final period.
In what coach Rich Schelsky called their best defensive performance of the season, the Knights also got a balanced offensive attack.
Brodee Miller led the way with 17 points followed by Ryan Brown with nine and Zach Sanabria with seven.
The 'A' team moved to 9-4 overall this year with a contest versus South Vermillion in the North Montgomery on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m.
In the 'B' game, the Knights jumped out quickly to a 15-4 advantage after one period of action and Northview cashed in on numerous turnovers.
Clint Grey led the team in scoring with 13 points while Zach White added nine, Alex Smith eight and both Marcus Weddle and Joey Evinger added seven.
The 'B' team improved to 5-1 this year and will play Monday, Jan. 26 at home versus Greencastle.
