In the completion of a suspended game on Wednesday evening, the Northview Knights finished off a 13-3 win over Owen Valley on Thursday.
The Knights held a 9-2 advantage when play was halted on Wednesday due to lightning and heavy rains. When play resumed on Thursday, the Knights added four runs over the course of the sixth and seventh innings to finish off a two-game sweep of the Patriots.
T.J. King picked up the pitching victory after throwing four innings on Wednesday, allowing a pair of runs on four hits and striking out four. Shawn Hughes finished off the game for the save with two innings of work allowing one unearned run and one hit and two strikeouts.
King scored four runs and added a double and Shane Cooper had a pair of RBI's, a double and scored a pair of runs. Ryan Nees had a first inning homerun and added a double and Jason Johnson contributed two hits, two RBI's and a pair of doubles.
With the win the Knights move to 2-0 in the Western Indiana Conference and 2-1 overall. Northview will visit South Putnam on Saturday afternoon for an 11 a.m. doubleheader.

The Northview 'B' team won a 9-2 decision over Riverton Parke on Thursday night as pitchers Nick Wells and Jordan Myers combined for 15 strikeouts while allowing just one hit in a six inning win.
For Northview Matt Deakins drilled a homerun and Michael Medearis added a pair of hits in the victory.
The 'B' squad will be back in action on Monday in their home opener versus rival West Vigo at 5 p.m.
