Northview track wins softball falls

Northview's Jennifer Gregg had two hits for the Knights, but the squad had just three hits overall in a 2-1 loss to West Vigo on the road.

The Knights will host West Vigo, Terre Haute North and South in Saturday's Big 4 Tourney which begins at 10 a.m.

The Knights got a pair of relay victories versus the Eagles along with individual wins from Neil Vanatti in the discus, Shawn Piatt in the pole vault and Michael Landry in the longjump.

Also winning for the Knights were Chris Bowman in the 300 hurdles and Logan Whitman in the high hurdles along with Matt McClellan in the 200.

The Knights will compete in the Big 4 Meet on Saturday versus the Vigo County schools beginning at 1 p.m.
