The Northview Knights improved to 21-6 by winning the Washington Tournament in high school baseball last weekend.
The Knights powered past Bedford North Lawrence 14-4 on the strength of a 19 hit attack to take the opener.
Brady Shoemaker led the Knights at the plate with four hits, including a homerun, and four RBIs while Shane Cooper added three singles and a double with an RBI. Craig Trout and Graig Bass each had a single and a double while driving in a run and Sean Brackney had a pinch-hit three-run homer.
In the title game, the Knights defeated the host team by a 13-1 score as Ryan Nees drove in five runs with a pair of singles and a homerun. T.J. King added three singles and a double with two RBIs and Shoemaker completed his day with another three hits and three RBIs. Jesse Johnson added another two hits and drove home a pair.
Nick Wells got the win on the mound with Michael Stuckey earning the victory in the first contest.
The Knights will visit Greencastle this evening.
In junior varsity action, Northview defeated South Putnam on Monday night 13-3 with Eric Beasley getting the complete game victory, allowing just two hits in the victory.
