North Clay to host Wabash Valley All-Star basketball game

WTHI-TV will sponsor an All-Star Basketball Extravaganza at North Clay Middle School on Friday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m.

The game will feature top stars from the Wabash Valley, including Northview High School graduates Logan Whitman, Zack Keyes, Josh Timm and Tyler Akers.

Also suiting up for the game will be Clay City graduate Roger Harden, Sullivan's Jeffrey Moore, Marc O'Leary and Wendell Mardis of T.H. North and South's Jeremy Locke and Chad Talpas. IU recruit Kyle Tabor of Evansville Central along with Bil Duany of Bloomington North will play. Mike Davis Jr. of Bridgeton Academy, Current IU coach Mike Davis' son has also committed for the contest.

Admission for the game will be $5.

There will also be a Future Stars Youth Clinic from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for boys and girls incoming first through eighth grades. Tickets will be $10 and will include admission to the game.

An impressive clinic staff includes Jon Crooks (24 years of high school head coaching experience), Jon Stuckey (12 years of coaching experience -- 3 professional, 5 collegiate and 4 high school), Logan Whitman (2004 Indiana All-State, Sectional champion, 2003 Junior Indiana All-Star and Future Indiana State Sycamore), Pat Ewing Jr. (Current Indiana University basketball player and son of Former New York Knick - Patrick Ewing and Mike Roberts (Current Indiana University player).
