On Monday night, Northview took a road trip to Rockville to face off with the host Rox in volleyball.
The trip was quite agreeable to the Knights as they evened their season record at 2-2 overall with a three set, 25-19, 25-8, 25-22 victory.
Brittney Spugnardi recorded a big night from the service line with 13 points, including seven aces, and served the Knights out in a dominating game two performance.
Spugnardi also had six digs and a pair of kills for Northview who also got nine service points from Lindsay Thomas who provided 32 assists as well. Lottie King added eight points, two aces and 13 kills to lead the team and tied Christy Fulk for the team high in blocks with two.
Fulk led the squad with eight digs with King second with seven and Casey Challandes added six with Kaley Huffman providing five for the Knights.
In junior varsity action, Northview dropped to 1-3 overall this year with a 15-25, 18-25 defeat to the Rox.
Emma Koehler had six assists and three points and Ashley Hull added four kills and a block. Katie Timberman chipped in with a block for Northview.
The Knights return home tonight with a match versus Monrovia at 6 p.m.
