The North Clay volleyball squads faced off with Woodrow Wilson and Tri-North on Saturday afternoon, winning three of four matches overall.
The eighth grade Knights won their opening match versus Tri-North with a three set victory, 16-25, 25-22, 25-19.
Allie Melega scored 10 points with four aces in the match for North Clay while Ashlyn Yocom recorded seven points and six aces in the decision.
In the second match, the Lady Knights fell short versus Woodrow Wilson 10-25, 25-21, 20-25 despite nine points from Hannah Emmert and eight from Samantha Van Buren. Yocom added seven points in the defeat.
The seventh grade squad won both of their matches that moved them to 5-1 overall this season.
The Lady Knights downed Tri-North in the opener 19-25, 25-10, 25-12 as Hannah Pond chipped in with 15 service points and Brittaney Long added nine points. Ali Sharton rang up seven points with Stephanie McMains adding seven as well. Samantha Solomon scored five points.
In the second game, a 25-22, 25-10 win over Woodrow Wilson, Solomon led the way with seven points while Long and Natali Sullivan had six points. Both McMains and Kaylee Edington had four points.
