Northview wrapped up the girls soccer regular season with a 4-0 victory over host West Vigo on Thursday night to finish at 7-9-1 overall.
The Knights tallied their first goal at the 16:36 mark as Vanessa Modesitt scored on an assist from Cassie Webb and Natasha Barnett. Eight minutes later they added another score as Erin Whitmore sent home a Kelsey Scroggins assisted ball to make the score 2-0. Ahnya Alstott also picked up an assist on the goal.
ChCarra Yockey scored the third goal of the half for Northview just 30 seconds later on an assist from Whitmore and Alsott to make the score 3-0 at the break.
In the second half Sara Roeshlein scored on Alstott's third assist of the contest which broke Frieda Crispin's single season assist record registered in 1997. Whitmore got her own record with 12 goals in a season and tied the career assist mark with 14.
The Knights also had 14 steals in the game with Heather Foxx providing four.
Up next for Northview will be sectional play and a rematch with Western Indiana Conference foe Sullivan at Terre Haute South Monday night.
