The Northview Knights' winning streak was halted on Thursday when they dropped a three set decision to host Plainfield, 12-25, 10-25, 12-25.
After winning seven games in a row, the Quakers controlled the action and held the Knights offense in check.
Lottie King and Christy Fulk were held to four kills apiece while Brianne Arvin had three along with Laura McCrea. Heather Palmer contributed on in the match.
Lindsay Thomas had 15 assists to go with three digs and a pair of blocks. Fulk also had a pair of blocks for the Knights who are now 19-6 on the season.
Casey Challandes, Brittney Spugnardi and Kellsy Maurer each had five digs to lead the squad.
Kaley Huffman had five points and King added two for the Knights who will return home for Senior Night on Monday against visiting Danville.
In the junior varsity contest the Knights lost in two games 19-25, 21-25 with both Ashley Hull and Cari Laue posting five points and Traci Sanders leading the way with 12 points and four aces. Emma Koehler had two points.
