The North Clay seventh grade boys' basketball team won three games on Saturday afternoon to earn the Western Indiana Conference championship.
The Knights had eight players score in picking up a 47-26 victory over South Vermillion despite having just 20 minutes between their semifinal game and title game.
North Clay got 16 points from Clay DeWeese and another nine points from Jonathon Bradshaw in the championship game and also had six points apiece from Scotty Wheeler and Drake Stevenson.
In the opening game of the tourney, North Clay defeated Carlisle by a convincing 49-16 margin.
Brodie Ridell and Wheeler each had nine points to lead the victors and Jordan Gaskill added seven.
In the semifinal matchup with Edgewood, North Clay got 26 points from DeWeese and another 19 from Justin White as the Knights raced off to a 63-47 win.
Bradshaw added another eight points and Gaskill and Wheeler each chipped in with four points.
North Clay's 'A' squad is now 8-2 for the season and will travel to Woodrow Wilson on Monday evening.Northview sophomore Brodee Miller had 10 points in the Knights' victory over Brown County on Saturday.
