Northview earns Senior Night victory over Terre Haute South

On Senior Night at Northview High School, the Knights got back on the winning track with a 43-22 dual meet victory over Terre Haute South.

Northview won nine of 13 matches in Wednesday's dual match versus the Braves.

Corey Grigsby won his 20th match of the season with a 26-11 technical fall over Jordan Haley. Grigsby advanced to 20-5 this year.

Greg Stultz also won his 20th match of the year when he also got a tech fall with a 21-3 decision over Nick Bennett to improve to 20-6.

Tony Sanabria won his 25th match of the year with a 6-3 decision and Gatlin Ferro earned a major decision, 11-1, over Danny Decker to improve to 12-4 this year. Chris Dean won his 21st match of the year with a 19-4 tech fall over Ben Miller and Lucas Boyd won a 4-1 decision.

Josh Longo, Austin Nicosin and Zach Stultz won by forfeit.

Seniors Brent Withers, Cory Allen, Jeremiah Allen, Sanabria, Grigsby and Ferro all were honored on Senior Night.

In junior varsity action, Tommy Herr-Smith won by fall over Nick Pullen in 1:27 and Matt Willman earned a pin over Cliff Lawson in 3:32.

Next up for Northview will have their next varsity match in the Sullivan Winter Duals on Jan. 15 with the junior varsity competing at Terre Haute North on Saturday, Jan. 8.
