Knights defeat Bloomington North in rescheduled game

The Northview Knights improved to 15-3 for the season with a 7-1 victory over Bloomington North in a game rescheduled due to rain.

Nick Wells went the distance on the mound, allowing just one hit in the contest which was called after the sixth inning. Wells struckout six batters and walked one.

At the plate, T.J. King was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a double and Brady Shoemaker nailed his ninth homerun of the season as part of a 2-for-3 evening. Ryan Nees had an RBI and Graig Bass had two hits, including a homerun in the fifth inning. Jesse Johnson contributed a double and Chase Yocom had a hit as well.
